Agency Speak Peeve Volume 1

Just sitting here thinking that there is no phrase I detest more in the ad agency dialect than ‘Lunch and Learn’.   For those of you out there who are unfamiliar, it generally refers to free lunch in exchange for your attention for 30 minutes of some such media offering.  

In terms the ‘why’, well I really couldn’t say.  Maybe I’m just indignant about being lured with food to listen to someone.  It has all the trappings of being 5 years old again.
